Aeolous - Acoustic Wind Pavilion by Luke Jerram - just beautiful

Luke Jerram: Aeolous – acoustic wind pavilion
In Greek Mythology, Aeolus is the god of the four winds.

Place your ear to any of the tubes on the outside of the sculpture and head a different low note from each one, like a musical scale.
Stand beneath the arch and listen to the sculpture ‘sing’ when the strings attached at the top vibrate in the breeze, like the strings of a musical instrument.

listen for the musical notes

Stand inside the sculpture, peer down the tubes and see reflections of the surrounding buildings and landscape, giving familiar sights a different perspective.
