suggested areas to stay when in London

London made up of 32 Boroughs, is a huge conglomerate of 2 cities, suburbs and villages that have been incorporated into Greater London over the years.

London Boroughs

The 2 cities are City of London and City of Westminster.

There are safe and dangerous areas to stay in or visit.   They vary in ratings from 1=safe to 4=dangerous.  The more upmarket areas are, as you can imagine, very expensive to stay in.  To give you an idea I have listed some of the more upmarket and next level areas rated as 1 and 2 in terms of safety.

On the whole London is a very safe city. However as with all big cities it is sometime difficult to know when you are planning your trip which are good areas and which are not.   This will give you an idea of some safe and mostly upmarket areas to stay when in London.
